Keep it Simple
After defining the/a problem statement, it's always tempting to keep pursuing it to the end with little or no evidence it'll actually work. You've invested so much time it's unreasonable to go back to step; instead, you keep pushing. You just fell victim to sunk cost fallacy. The number one is rule is to always keep it simple.
If you have an idea to simplify an existing design, then you should pursue that idea. Fail often, but fail small and controlled. And always remember; Empathy is your ticket to success
